Young locals take time out from a Sunday drive to have their pictures made in front of the school. This photo probably dates from the mid-1930s, and while it shows what is thought, and appears to be, Mineral Springs School, it could be another county school built in the same style. (At least some of the young folks in the photo are known to be from the Mineral Springs area.) The car appears to be a Ford Roadster similar to the one shown in this illustration from 1930.
