Mineral Springs Report Cards

Report cards--the only things standing between us and a really good time at school. We might have been able to convince our folks that we were geniuses who didn't need to study, but those dreaded report cards were always there to give the game away. Here are a few representative cards from the 'teens to the 40s and '50s--back when the last thing on a teacher's mind was a student's self-esteem. To say the least, they didn't mind hurting your feelings (or other parts of your person if necessary). But somehow, we survived, and some even prospered.
